Getting your business listed takes less time than most people expect, and the registration wizard walks you through it in clear stages. Here’s exactly what to expect, section by section, so you can have everything ready before you start.
Before you begin, gather these
Have your business logo and up to 5 photos ready on your phone or computer, along with your exact location (county, sub county, and town or area), a short description of what you do in 30 words or fewer, and your contact details.
Section 1: Business Information
Enter your business name, select the category that fits best (see our guide on choosing the right one if you’re unsure), and write your description. Keep it focused on what makes you the right choice, not a list of everything you’ve ever done.
Section 2: Location
Select your county, sub county, and town or area. This is what powers the county search filter, so accuracy here directly affects whether nearby customers find you.
Section 3: Contact Information
Contact person name, phone number, email, and website if you have one. This is what customers will use to actually reach you, so double check the phone number before submitting.
Section 4: Social Media (optional)
Add Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn if your business is active there. Skip anything you don’t use regularly. An inactive social link does more harm than no link at all.
Section 5: Branding
Upload your business logo and up to 5 photos. Listings with real photos consistently get more attention than those without, so this section is worth the extra few minutes.
Section 6: Membership
Choose your plan. New businesses get a 30 day free trial with no payment required. After that, plans range from KSh 1,000 for a single month down to an effective KSh 700 a month on the 12 month plan. Payment options include M-Pesa, Airtel Money, debit or credit card, bank transfer, and PesaLink.
Section 7: Declaration
Review and accept the Terms of Listing Submission and Privacy Policy, then submit.
What happens next
Your listing goes to our admin team for review, typically cleared within 2 business days. Once approved, it’s live, searchable by category and county, and ready for customers to find. If anything needs fixing first, you’ll hear from us directly rather than being left guessing.
