Welcome to CCC Business Directory, an initiative of Connect Circle Community. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of cccbusinessdirectory.co.ke. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who Can Use the Site
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to register an account, submit a listing, or leave a review.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@cccbusinessdirectory.co.ke if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
- Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on others’ rights
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or interfere with the Site’s operation
- Use the Site to spam or harass other users
- Submit reviews that are fake, incentivized without disclosure, or written about a business you have not genuinely interacted with
Violation of these terms may result in listing removal, account suspension, or permanent ban, at our discretion.
4. Listings
Listings are subject to our separate Terms of Listing Submission (see below), which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
5. Reviews
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We reserve the right to moderate, edit for policy compliance, or remove reviews that violate our Acceptable Use terms or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.
6. Intellectual Property
The Site design, logo, and branding are the property of CCC Business Directory / Connect Circle Community. Business owners retain ownership of the content and photos they submit but grant us a license to display that content publicly on the Site and affiliated community platforms, as described in the listing consent text.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all listings are provided “as is.” We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy, quality, or legitimacy of any listed business, and we are not responsible for transactions or disputes between users and listed businesses.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCC Business Directory and Connect Circle Community shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your dealings with any listed business.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or listing at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
