These Terms of Listing Submission apply specifically to business owners submitting, managing, or paying for a listing on the CCC Business Directory.
1. Eligibility
You must own, operate, or be formally authorized to represent the business you are listing.
2. Accuracy of Information
You confirm that all information submitted, including your business name, contact details, location, services, description, website, email address, logos and photographs, is accurate, current and not misleading.
You are responsible for ensuring that your listing remains accurate and up to date. Minor updates, such as changes to contact details, website links, email addresses, social media links or business hours, will be made free of charge. Major changes to listing content, branding or promotional artwork may attract an update fee.
3. Consent to Use of Information
By submitting a listing, you agree to the following consent, which is required at the point of submission:
“I consent to my information being included in the Connect Circle Business Directory and shared with Connect Circle Community members for networking, referrals, business promotion and community engagement purposes. I understand that my business may also be featured within the Connect Circle Marketplace and on affiliated community platforms and social media channels for promotional purposes.”
4. Photos
You confirm you own the rights to, or have permission to use, all photos submitted (up to five per listing).
Do not upload images containing third party copyrighted material, offensive content or content unrelated to your business.
5. Approval Process
All new listings are reviewed by an administrator before going live.
We reserve the right to reject or request edits to any listing that does not meet our content standards, without obligation to explain the specific reason.
6. Listing Activation
Once your listing has been approved, payment is required before it is published in the CCC Business Directory.
Your listing will be activated once payment has been successfully received and processed.
7. Listing Plans, Promotions and Renewals
Current listing plans and prices are shown on our Membership Plans page and at checkout. The price shown at checkout at the time of purchase is the price that applies to your listing.
We may run promotional offers from time to time, for example a discounted introductory rate, an offer limited to a set number of businesses, or a coupon code. Any offer may be limited by date, by the number of businesses that can claim it, or by the plan it applies to, and the conditions that apply will be stated wherever that offer is advertised.
Promotional pricing applies only to the purchase it is used for. Renewals are charged at the prevailing rate shown on the Membership Plans page at the time of renewal.
We may change, extend or withdraw any offer at any time. Listings already paid for are not affected.
Payments are processed securely through Paystack using M-Pesa, Airtel Money, card, bank transfer or PesaLink.
Listings remain active for the period paid. If payment is not received before the renewal date, the listing will be deactivated and hidden from the directory until payment is renewed.
8. Refunds, Cancellations & Listing Updates
Listing fees are non refundable once a listing has been approved and published in the CCC Business Directory.
If a listing is cancelled before it has been approved and published, a refund may be considered, less any applicable administrative or transaction charges.
If the CCC Business Directory is unable to publish a listing due to an error on our part, the business owner may choose either:
- A full refund.
- A credit towards a future listing.
Minor updates, including changes to contact details, website links, email addresses, social media links or business hours, will be made free of charge.
Major updates, including replacing logos, redesigning promotional artwork, changing business descriptions or substantially altering listing content, may attract an update fee.
9. Suspension and Removal
We reserve the right to suspend, deactivate or permanently remove any listing at our discretion, including for:
- Violation of these Terms or our Terms of Service.
- Fraudulent or misleading business information.
- Repeated user complaints or fraudulent reviews.
- Non payment.
Where practical, we may notify the business owner and provide an opportunity to correct the issue before suspending or removing a listing.
10. No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee any specific level of visibility, traffic, enquiries, leads or business outcomes arising from your listing.
